[REVIEW] Mamonde Lotus Micro Sebum Control Foam

Today's review is on Mamonde Lotus Micro Sebum Control Foam!

I've purchased this as I'm finishing my Hatching cleanser from Chica Y Chica. That cleanser was good but I wanted to try something else~

There's not much reviews on this so I'll give it a try!

Some background regarding this product!
Mamonde is one of the brand under Amore Pacific - the company that sells Laneige, Hada Labo and many more! From what I've read, Mamonde's target audience are women aging 24 years and older.

Well, since I'm reaching that age soon (LOL), I guess this foam should work well with my skin? Hahahaha~ We shall see!

The cleanser contains mico red coloured beads. I do not feel much exfoliation while rubbing the cleanser on my face (unlike the Innisfree Jeju Cleansing foam which you can feel the beads dissolving into your skin).

After using it for a few days, this cleanser leaves a minty feel. It's as if you just popped a mint candy into your mouth and that refreshing feel in your mouth - that's what it feels on my face! I do not feel any tight or squeaky clean feeling. It's just refreshing! It does what it's supposed  to and I've nth against it. Pretty good so far! I'll continue to use this till it finishes and I'll update again! ^.^

Summary

Price: Mamonde's cleanser is much worth if you want to talk about quantity! It's a whopping 175ML as compared to the usual 100ML cleanser.

Cleansing power: Yep, it's good as it doesn't strip off the moisture on your skin! Not bad and it even leaves a minty/refreshing feel afterwards!

Will I repurchase it?
I'll keep my verdict on hold for now as it's too early to tell.

Certainly, I'll keep a lookout for Mamonde's product in the future!

[Review] SON&PARK Skin Fit Foundation

Today's review will be on SON&PARK Skin Fit Foundation!

First of all, SON&PARK is set up by two famous korean make up artists! I've seen them on "Get It Beauty!" Show and they are really awesome!

This product was used on many korean artists and this explains their flawless looking skin eh? :P

I purchased this foundation from Here and at a discount with the coupons! :D

What's so special about this is that this foundation is in a stick form rather than the common "cream" type.

Upon receiving the foundation, I'm quite surprised that it looks different from the usual BB creams.

There's a greenish looking cream in the middle which would naturally blends into your skin.
This green portion will help to conceal any redness on your skin too.

There are two shades available: C21 and C23. I've gotten myself the darkest shade. Surprisingly, it really matches my skin tone and most importantly, WITHOUT THE WHITE CAST! My friend even commented that it looks natural! Coverage wise, it's so good! It covers my red-looking acne prone nose well for the whole day. ^.^

Most korean make up creams tend to leave a white cast (making my face look pale) which I really detest. However, this Skin Fit foundation is really different! I fell in love with this during my first application!

This stick comes with a brush on the other side which allows you to blend the foundation effortlessly on your skin. Personally, I used the makeup blender instead of the brush. The makeup blender works well in blending the foundation too~ :)

This stick alone can last you for about 3~4 months!

Was trying hard to find a spot that reflects the colour accurately... (No filters here!)

After blending it into my skin!

Will I buy again?
YES! The colour tone really match my skin well and I had no reason not to buy this again~ :D

Hope that I'll get the chance to buy and do a review on SON&PARK's lip crayon soon!!

Till then~
Tata~

[REVIEW] Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Today I'm going to review Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask!

This Jeju volcanic scoria clay mask intensively absorbs sebum and clarifies skin pores.

Directions as per packaging: After cleansing and refining skin with toner, gently smooth over entire face, avoiding the eye and lip area. Rinse off with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. (Use 1~2 times per week)

Unboxing the clay mask ...

What I feel:
On my first application, after washing my face with my cleanser, I applied this mask onto my face. Subsequently, after 15-20mins or so, I washed it off in a circular motion. I noticed that the mask actually got rid of my whiteheads as well.  After washing off, I applied Mizon Toner.

I observed that my face didn't break out whiteheads that often ever since the night I applied the clay mask. My nose is very prone to whiteheads no matter how much I wash my face. Hence, this is a really awesome product!! I'm totally in love with this!

Now, before buying the product, I'm sure you might ask what's the difference between SUPER Jeju Volcanic Clay and the Jeju Volcanic Clay?

Well, from what I've read, the 'Super' version was actually intended for people who have a much oilier skin. For people who are like me with dry/combination skin, I would suggest starting with this first!

Please do note that the clay mask doesn't comes with a spatula. I simply used my cosmetic spatula to scoop the clay out for hygiene purposes.

Rating: 4/5
Will I repurchase?
I would repurchase but since I've purchased another brand's clay mask to try (which I'll review soon!)... I'll see which one is better. Currently this is one of the best. :)

[REVIEW] GNC Total Lean CLA

It's been a busy month! Finally I've got time to post a product review today! Whee!

Today's review is on GNC Total Lean CLA supplement!

This bottle contains 90 soft gel capsules and should last approximately 45 days if you take 2 per day!
GNC Total Lean CLA is supposed to help you improve lean muscle tone, fuels energy and fat metabolism.

Directions: Two softgel capsules, twice daily.

I've read lots of reviews before purchasing and most people mentioned about the size of the capsules. Certainly when I opened up the bottle, the capsules looked fine but when I tried to swallow it, I did find it slightly hard to swallow. Just drink lots of water to get it down! It'll be okay once you get used to the size.

It looked clear since it's made up of safflower oil!  Reminds me of fish oils.

Comparison of capsule against a 5 cent coin. Hope it helps!

-
Day 1 [29/10/2015]: My first try. I ate this after my lunch and I noticed that I'm super thirsty after consuming 1 gel capsule. I drank two large cups of plain water and yet still feeling thirsty.
After about 4 hours, I ate another capsule and waited for about 30mins before I start my 30mins+ of zumba workout. Feels okay, I didn't feel anything abnormal.

Day 2: Ate one after my breakfast. Felt energized but not long after, I had a headache. Not sure if this is due to the capsules. Will monitor.

Day 3: Having headache, thus decided to skip for today.

Day 4: Continued eating 2 pills per day. 1 for breakfast and 1 for lunch or dinner. No other effects felt.

Day 6 onwards: 2 pills after lunch and 2 pills after dinner.
...
7/12/2015 Update: I'm currently finishing up the CLA soon (~5 capsules left!) and I found myself losing about 2kg?

Rating: 4/5

Will I repurchase?
Not sure if it's the CLA but I've repurchased another bottle to try! Hopefully I'll lose more!
Throughout the course, occasionally I'll feel a bit lethargic after consuming the pills and these pills seems to boost my digestive system... (laughs)
Just remember to drink lots of water and to exercise regularly! Let's work towards a healthier life together! :)

I plan to purchase GNC Total Lean Burn soon... :)
